ABOUT SOUTHERN GOURMET
The idea with Söder’s gourmet is to bring in the newest and funnest for everyone who wants to cook good and exciting food. We want to do this in a personal way and therefore we test most of our products before we decide to include them in our range. They should work, they should last and if you need, we should be able to help you.
We search globally for new machines, books, magazines and equipment so that you can create freely.
On our blog you will find everything from recipes, food pictures from restaurants that use our products (and some others), reports, practical tips and much more to read. We are also on Facebook and Instagram and send out a newsletter via email about once a month with the latest news and events.
Who are we then?
We are Ann-Katrin Nylund and Johan Heibert with backgrounds as chefs, head chefs, F&B etc.
We both attended Grythyttan’s restaurant school and after that have run the kitchens at various restaurants and hotels.
Johan also holds cooking courses for, among others, Gastro Merit and writes recipes for magazines.
Who are our customers?
Anyone who likes to cook… We sell both to private individuals and deliver to most of the really good restaurants, hotels and star restaurants in Sweden, many food studios, specialty shops, members of the national chef team and more. We are also proud sponsors of Bocuse d’Or Sweden.
We have always tried to help those who contact us, even if it concerns products that are not from us. The tips and many of the recipes on the blog can actually be made without our products.
We also collaborate with the big wholesalers in Sweden such as Martin & Servera, Menigo, Smörgåsbord, Grönsakshallen Sorunda and others.
We are here on the internet and have a showroom and warehouse store at Stenhuggarvägen 4Å in Nacka, where you can go and hang out for a while and have a coffee if you want. If you want to get hold of us, just call or email. Otherwise, maybe we’ll see each other at one of the fairs we attend.
